I love fashion and I love trends. However, I feel I lack the ability to execute an outfit that goes together, or in this day in age, an outfit that doesn't go together, but just works. Although I would love the help of a personal shopper, it'll take too much time and effort to find one, hire one, pay one, then actually shop with one. I have always been searching for something quick and easy, that is, until I came across Polyvore.com...my new fashion god.

 

Polyvore is the largest online community of "tastemakers", with 6.5 million monthly visitors (so this is how everyone has suddenly become so fashionable? Did I not get the memo?). On this site, people can discover trends, the hottest brands, products and looks. The interface is extremely user-friendly, as you can easily shop around by cateogry, style, color, brand, celebrity style, stores, or even by looking at the site's signature collages of outfits (see image), in which they call "sets". And as if the site isn't cool enough, if you have an outfit in which you would like to share, you can create your own set, using the virtual style tool. Sure, the site does feature some items, such as accessory rings for $1,235, but they also feature other items less than $30. You just have to browse around.

 

Looks like someone may have to spend a little bit more money than they intended this month...me.
