Recent growth in Hyundai sales results in a 9.3% rise in brand value since last year

By Lacey Ackerman
So my '98 Honda Civic is at it's end of the rope, without question. As a result, I have been researching cars online and keeping an eye out while driving for any that peak my interest. To my surprise, I've noticed an excessive amount of Hyundai's on the road; Sonata's in particular...and quite frankly, they are looking pretty nice.

Hyundai has been noted as the fastest-growing automotive company by brand. Being that the industry's average growth rate is 2.8 percent, Hyundai's has surpassed this number at 9.3 percent within the last year.

The company must be doing something right. Hyundai has been releasing new models with better quality and design, keeping functionality in mind. You may have also seen a lot of marketing exposure during the World Cup and Super Bowl. And I was right...the new Sonata has brought the sales to an ultimate high. The company has been smart in making the right investments in marketing campaigns to enhance it's brand.

Wonhong Cho, the Executive Vice President of Hyundai, stated that the new "products express stylistic features under the design concept of fluidic structure."

The quality and design of the new car models has definitely grabbed my attention as a buyer and I will certainly consider this brand as my next car.
