This is What Happens When You Have Stock Photo Credits that are About to Expire
By: Elaine Levins
So.. I got this notice that I had two iStockphoto credits that were going to expire very soon. Two credits does not get you very much.
But, as I have mentioned in previous blog posts, I hate to waste anything, even 2 measly photo credits (which cost us about $2.30 total.) So I decided to make it fun, and use these credits to buy photos I could use in a blog post!
So I logged into iStockphoto (which is a site we often use to source our stock imagery), and decided to search a bit. Lo and behold, they have a "Dollar Bin," which includes images as low as one credit each. Jackpot! Now I could grab two images to use in my post.
The first image, which you saw at the top of this post, I chose just because it made me laugh... maybe because I'm still at work at 6:20 on a Friday afternoon, and "You are here... like it or not" seemed like an appropriate sentiment.
This is the second image I bought.

How cute is this dog? Made me smile after a long week at work and it only cost me one credit - Enjoy!
