File Conversion Made Simple Online at Zamzar.com

Doesn't happen a lot, but every so often we receive a file that we can't open. And we need to convert it. Over the years, we've invested in apps to do this - but now, you can convert files online with Zamzar.com.
This is another very cool and useful site (discovered by John) that seems to make file conversions simple. If you frequent our blog, you'll recall we've previously posted about converting a PDF into MS Word - but what if you need to convert WordPerfect into MS Word, or JPEGs into PCX files. Well Zamzar.com seems to offer you this. And yup...it's free (for a limited version).
We've converted a few file types and it works pretty well. And when it fails...they indicate they're investigating why it didn't work. So that's good support. I'll continue to follow this site and experiment with it on the rare occasions we need to convert a file or two.
