Where's the Ribbon?

I recently but reluctantly got the opportunity to work in Microsoft's PowerPoint again. The task was to create a visually appealing presentation. A task not unknown to me, but one I always dread getting because of Microsoft's UI. It buries things as simple as line spacing deep within menu's so that if you weren't completely savvy it could take you forever to find. Very frustrating.

In Microsoft's 2007 Office for Windows this problem was addressed with the "Fluent User Interface" other wise known as The Ribbon. This update was received well by most Windows Office users. But alas, Microsoft's Office 2008 for Mac did not contain the streamlined user interface.

So I'm here to ask. Where is the ribbon? Please give me the ribbon. Microsoft...Apple….work out whatever it is you need to work out and get me a version with the Ribbon please….
