The director, writer and artist, Tim Burton, has created some of the most dark, sinister films; most of which are box office hits. Growing up I had the honor of enjoying some of his best works, such as Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas and more. Today we can appreciate some of his more recent films: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Corpse Bride, and Alice in Wonderland (which I have yet to see).

 

Even with all movies aside, his fine art can still be just as fantastic. From November to June the MOMA held a Tim Burton exhibit, which showcased a good variety of his collection, displaying in chronological order, starting from his grade-school drawings.
