Four hundred blog posts!!

We're strong advocates of incorporating a blog or articles section into websites. It's at the top of our recommendations for virtually all client engagements. Blogging has so many benefits. It can lay the foundation for social marketing - it's fairly simple to re-purpose a blog and distribute it to various social media. Sure, while it's not true social interaction, it does spread your ideas - and if they're good ones - people tend to share and comment.
 

Data suggests, more posts, equals more traffic

A recent blog on hubspot discussed how research shows that companies that generated 20 or more blog posts per month had a better return in traffic and leads. And that companies with over 400 indexed pages also saw an increase in leads and traffic.
 
We can confirm, that since starting are blog regimen we've seen an increase in traffic and leads. Of course, you can't simply vomit a blog post and think quantity is all that matters. The contrary is true. It's the blogs we've taken the longest to write, the ones we've researched or shared knowledge that are continuously the most popular. So quality counts too. You can't simply create 400 blog posts of cats and think it'll generate traffic (oh wait a second...maybe you can...LOL CATS did...but that's entertainment not business).  If you want to attract qualified, legitimate leads for your business, you'll want to blog on subjects that interest and resonate with your prospects and customers.
 
Of course...you can always throw in a post of a cat or two...the internet does love cats.
