Hard Working Flies

I'll admit I never though a fly was good for anything but the swatting, but a German company put some flies to work at a book fair. To promote their exhibition stand at the FranKfurt Book Fair, publisher Eichborn prepared 200 flies with an ultra-light banner. The banner was attached with natural wax. After a short time the banner dropped off by itself. And the flies were not harmed.

I always shake my head at advertisements going too far...but I have to admit...I thought this one was cute. After all...I would have just killed the darn bug – at least these fellas got to lead a full and purposeful life.
