Philadelphia to levy tax on most Bloggers
When you first learn of this, you can't really believe it's true. Could a city be so down on it's luck that it would attempt to tax even casual bloggers? It seems utterly absurd. But I guess the the City of Brotherly Love holds no love for bloggers.

If I ever make it to New Zealand...I'm eating pizza at Hell
I stumbled upon this clever YouTube interactive campaign for a New Zealand Pizza shop named Hell. Clever name, cool website, and awesome zombie filled youtube commercials. Gives new meaning to the phrase I'm going to Hell.

What if Apple added the ability to export Android Apps to Xcode?
Let me be upfront, I'm not a Xcode user, so I can't speak technically. I'm simply postulating, what would developers do if you could simply export your iPhone app made with Xcode to Android.

Which javascript framework should you use? A designers perspective.
I've been a web designer and programmer wannabe for many years. I finally succumb to the fact, my mind can't grasp higher programming, but I know enough to annoy and push programmers to accomplish more. And javascript frameworks fall under this topic.

Quark jumps the shark
I switched to InDesgin in 2000, but before that I used and loved Quark – I even taught people how to use it. Until InDesign 2.0 it was the best tool - and even today, I check Quark.com every so often - to see what's new. Could they ever temp me back.

I'm happy to see Pep Boys reemphasizing Manny, Moe & Jack in their marketing
Even though I'm not a car guy I always appreciated Pep Boys and their iconic figures that adorned their stores. Their branding was distinct and memorable. That's why I was disappointed when I observed their recent homogenization of their brand.

Two companies Apple should buy to make Mobileme.com better: Posterous.com and Dropbox.com
I've had a MobileMe account since it was .Mac and free. And while I'll make occasional use of its extra features - I really use it for only email and iChat. And I have iLife and iWork too. So I could use it more. But it's just not simple enough.

Probably the simplest and best executed blogging tool I've ever seen, Posterous.com allows you to create blog entries by simply emailing or texting. It's so unbelievably easy. Of course, you can link to other social media and add content normally too.
