Bing Prepares For Vancouver
By Lacey Ackerman
As if watching the Olympics on television isn't enough, we now have access to countless information on our cellphones and online. The online search engine, Bing, has announced new features which cater to the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. The two new features are called Instant Answers and Visual Galleries. Instant Answers quickly collects all the appropriate information you'll need. In other words, you will receive the answer to your question right in your search results, without having to click further (although it is an option). Visual Galleries is a more refined version of Google images. The images are arranged in an attractive gallery layout, and you are able to scroll through pages with a slider on the right. When you hover over an image, the subject of the picture automatically enters in the search engine above.
Bing will also provide schedules, news, updated details, games, videos, event recaps, medal counts info, and more...all related to the Winter Olympics.
