If you were asked to illustrate intoxication, would you be able to? Well, Alexandra Pacula can.

By Lacey Ackerman
"I am fascinated by the ambiance of the city at night and its seductive qualities," writes Alexandra Pacula when describing the inspiration for her vibrant (and warped) paintings. The New York based artist gets her inspiration from her surroundings and her own experiences.

You won't find any defined shapes within her artwork -- the paintings are filled with blurred shapes, unclear images, dizziness, and confusion. Objects are hard to distinguish, which grabs your attention and keeps you looking for more.
