Popular Science and Google collaborate to put all old issues online

In a moment of genius, Popular Science Magazine and Google have collaborated to put all their old issues online for free! 137 years of invention and science are now searchable and easily read online. I think this is brilliant! And nerdly cool!

Throwback Pepsi - Available for a Limited Time Only (sadly)

The Advertising Business As Seen in Movies and Television

AOL hires Leo Burnett USA to rebrand it prior to its spin-off

AOL is attempting to reinvent itself once again so it can spin-off from Time Warner and perhaps regain some of its early 80/90's luster. I remain skeptical, but hopeful. As annoying as the Get AOL CDs were - you have to admit, they're iconic, as is AOL.

The general public gets a lesson in how good design sells

I was watching TV the other night when I came across a show called The Unsellables. The show's premise is to take homes that have been on the market and won’t sell, give them a fresh new look, and BAM!

Things I wish they taught me in college

When I think about art college and what I learned there, all I can think is they taught me how to open a file and move things around in it. There are so many things about this business that are so much more than that. I wish they taught me a little more.

How do you reach your customers in today's fragmented market?
