Anything Goes in the 80s

I wrote a post recently about the 25th anniversary of The Goonies. While doing research for that post I came across the Cyndi Lauper video for Goonies Are Good Enough. I watched it and took a trip down memory lane. I also asked myself why the heck did they give Cyndi a bottle of milk to feed a fake cow. Looking back it seems the 80s were full of videos like this. Like:
Why are they wearing cones on their heads?
Why is there a dancing midget in a jester's costume?
Why are there people floating round the room and what was that in the car that drove through?
