After redesigning Material Cutlure´s website, jldcreative began the long process of developing an ecommerce strategy for this unique retailer. The challenge, how to sell one-of-a-kind items, which would be equally at home in an art gallery or museum, but instead found their way into Material Culture´s store and onto their website.

 

Many of the items for sale have worldly roots, a rich heritage, and often a long legacy. The items are truly unique and capturing their essence and devising how to catalog and present the menagerie was a challenge. And of course, there´s a healthy amount of daily turn-over and acquisition of new pieces - so the site had to accommodate quick changes.

 

Fortunately, the challenge was met.
